Turning Ideas into Offers with Your Digital Product Navigator
A practical approach to building digital products that attract clients and build visibility.
When Sam asked if
and I could create a GPT1 that walks you through building a digital product from start to finish, I said yes before I even thought about it. It just made sense.I’ve been helping people turn their ideas into offers for years, and I know where most get stuck. It’s never the idea. It’s the follow-through. They start with excitement, open a blank doc, and then freeze. That’s where this GPT comes in.
I’m using ChatGPT to build it, which feels a little meta, but it works. Every time I create or test a step, I ask, “Would this make sense to someone who’s not a tech person? Would it feel easy, or like another project that sits half-done in Google Drive?”
The goal is a GPT that acts like a calm, no-fluff coach, one that helps you move from idea to income without overwhelm. It’ll guide you through creating, pricing, and promoting your product, as well as what to do next.
I shared some details of what I’m creating during a recent AI Success Club call, and asked for feedback. The ideas for features to include were gold:
A pricing calculator to test real numbers instead of guesses
Revenue projections that show what happens if you sell 50, 100, or 500 copies
Smart audience guidance: where your buyers actually are, not where you “should” post
Accountability prompts to help you finish
Even tools for creating affiliate or launch emails automatically
I’m still early in the build, but I wanted to share the thinking behind it because having a digital product matters more than many people realize.
A product gives your audience a reason to trust you. It shows you’re not just talking about what you know, you’ve packaged it into something that helps them take action. That single shift from giving free tips to offering something they can buy can completely change how people see your business.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea, here’s a similar starting plan Your Digital Product Navigator (working title) will guide you through.
How to Start Building Your Own Digital Product
Pick one small, real problem you can solve quickly. Think “guide” or “mini-course,” not a 10-module marathon.
Decide who it’s for. Write one sentence that starts with “This helps people who…” and finish it.
Choose the format. PDF, Notion doc, short video, whatever feels easiest to make right now.
Set a test price. Don’t overanalyze. You can always adjust later.
Plan a simple promo. A short email series and a few posts are enough to start.
Add a next step. A call, coaching offer, or bonus resource keeps buyers engaged.
