Whenever I ask about challenges solo business owners have about getting better online visibility, the #1 response is…
Not enough time.
And what's the most time-consuming task?
Content creation.
There are many reasons, including not knowing WHAT the most effective content is to create, not knowing HOW to create the content, manage the content, or where to post the content.
The "not knowing" can lead to procrastination or simply ignoring and not doing it at all.
Then, you may wonder why your email list isn't growing, or you're not getting enough customers or clients.
Your online presence starts to wane.
Your engagement goes down.
Prospects can't find you.
Your business becomes nearly invisible.
Around 2008, I really started leaning into the concept of boosting online visibility.
Better web visibility means more people become aware of your business, your message, and what you offer.
Better Visibility = More Business
Back in 2008, there weren't as many content platforms as there are today: Blogger, MySpace, Friendster, Facebook (starting to make a move), Twitter (still new), and a few others. There was email and YouTube.
Now, the choice of platforms is overwhelming.
How do you decide where to focus your time and energy?
How do you create enough content to make an impact?
How do you stand out in a crowded marketplace?
That's a lot of questions to answer for one email.
So I'll say this...
AI = Better Visibility
We—you and me and every other solo business owner—have an opportunity now to get better visibility by using AI tools to help us create content quickly, edit our work, and schedule it.
Whether it's a weekly newsletter, an email campaign, captions for social media posts, scripts for videos, podcast show notes, etc., you have a partner to help you so you can boost your visibility, get your message in front of your ideal audience and build your business.
There's no reason not to create content that will help raise awareness for your business and drive traffic to your site.

What are the top 10 questions a prospective customer might have about (name of your product/service and what it provides).

By leveraging AI, even a little bit, you can overcome the time challenge of content creation, ensuring your business remains visible and connected with your audience.
