This week, I hit a decision wall. There are many visibility strategies and tactics I can write about, and quite a few readers have asked questions. I landed on one that has been asked a few times:

Which channels are getting the best reach, and with what type of post?

That’s a great question and one worth answering. I started researching and realized I didn’t have enough time to write an article before my deadline this week. It’s in the queue now for later publication.

So, I started over and decided to give you a quick, simple visibility tactic instead:

Add links to your newsletter and lead magnet optin pages on your social profiles.

Seems obvious, right? Yet when I randomly look at profile pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube channels, I discover that most solo businesses are overlooking the option to link to their valuable asset…their email list.

Getting people to notice your lead magnet or newsletter is often the toughest part of growing your audience.

Adding clear, clickable links to your opt-in pages across Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube helps potential subscribers find you effortlessly. These placements act like small billboards, reminding your audience of the valuable resources you offer.

By leveraging multiple platforms, you create a seamless path for followers and casual viewers to connect deeper with your brand—turning interested browsers into loyal subscribers.

In 3 short videos, I’ll show you where to place these links on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. With each platform offering unique spots for visibility, a few strategic placements can significantly increase click-throughs and sign-ups, putting your content front and center for the people who need it most.

If you’re thinking, “So what, I already know this,” …great! Let this be a nudge to take a look at your profile pages and make sure everything is up to date!

(You may wonder why I didn’t include Instagram, X, TikTok or Pinterest. In a recent poll asking what your #1 social platform is, the 3 above got all the votes.)

One more thing. Earlier this year, I created a newsletter promotion checklist. It can also easily be used to promote a lead magnet. Click here to get your copy.
